Tricia has been in the counselling world for almost all of her career. She originally trained as an Ante-natal Teacher and Breastfeeding Counsellor for the National Childbirth Trust in 1973! She trained as a counsellor at the University of Surrey from 1980 to 1982. The Fleet Counselling Service was established by Tricia, with a colleague, Heather Buss, who sadly died in 2003.
Tricia was a one of the earliest members of the The Family Mediators Association in 1989, and created a consultative supervision model for mediators and ran the network for several years.
She has been a counsellor and mediation trainer for many years and has worked with students, health workers, educational workers and many others. She has a keen interest in relationship and family problems.
She became a BACP accredited supervisor in 2002 having undertaken a 3 year supervision training.
